Recent job · Noblesville lakeside

From abandoned tub to clean deck — same day.

A homeowner in Noblesville had a hot tub that hadn't run in two winters. The acrylic was cracked, the foam was soaked, and it was sitting on a wood deck ten feet above the water. We drained it, cut the shell into six pieces with a reciprocating saw, walked every piece down the stairs, and swept the deck clean. Total on-site time: 3 hours 15 minutes.

The process

How a hot tub removal actually goes.

Every job runs the same repeatable playbook. No mystery, no back-and-forth, no return trips.

  1. 01

    Drain & disconnect

We arrive with a submersible pump and start draining while the crew disconnects the tub from its 240V GFCI panel and any plumbed water lines.

  2. 02

    Panel & cabinet off

The pressure-treated wood cabinet, side panels, and equipment bay all come off first. Copper wiring and stainless jets are separated for scrap recycling.

  3. 03

    Cut the shell in place

Using reciprocating saws, we cut the acrylic shell and foam insulation into six to eight haul-able pieces — right where the tub sits, no lifting whole.

  4. 04

    Load, sweep, photograph

Every piece goes into the trailer. The pad or deck gets swept, the site is photographed, and payment is collected — most jobs wrap in 3 hours.

Deck-set & elevated tubs

Yes — we pull tubs off decks, balconies, and lakeside patios.

Deck-set removals are what we do most weekends. The trick isn't muscle — it's cutting the shell down into pieces that can be walked out one at a time. We've pulled tubs off second-story balconies in Carmel, rooftop condos in downtown Indy, and dozens of Geist and Morse Reservoir lakeside decks. No cranes, no landscaping damage, no torn-up stairs. If two people can walk a piece down, we can get the whole tub out.

  • Hand tools only on your deck — no heavy equipment
  • Tarps under every cut to catch foam and shell dust
  • Deck boards protected during load-out

Where your hot tub goes

Sorted, recycled, and disposed responsibly.

Every hot tub we haul goes through the same sort. The acrylic shell, foam, and pressure-treated cabinet head to a licensed transfer station. The steel frame, copper wiring, and stainless jets get pulled aside for scrap recycling before disposal. We don't dump your old tub in a ditch on the way home — everything hits a legitimate facility with a paper trail.
